SSSP ensures that all community members who require follow-up care are given follow-up care with Wilmer Eye Institute Faculty regardless of their ability to pay. They are also eligible for ophthalmological surgery that is covered by a fund for indigent patients and can obtain a free pair of prescription glasses through the Wilmer optical shop.
